The UofL Health Office of Philanthropy, in collaboration with our partners at the University of Louisville, manages relationships between the health care system and private philanthropic foundations and organizations. In that role, we research and monitor programs and priorities of key Kentuckiana area foundations, as well as national foundations to identify initiatives that align with strategic priorities for UofL Health. Our goal is to maximize funding revenues to enhance the mission of UofL Health. With our partners we actively work to ensure that our contacts with funders are strategic. 

To that end, we work with all UofL Health facilities, programs, and providers to prepare for competitive funding opportunities. We provide strategic and editorial advisement to grant leads on submissions. All non-research proposals to external funders are to be developed in coordination with UofL Health Philanthropy.
