Voluntary Payroll Deduction

Voluntary Payroll Deductions allows an employee to donate to UofL Health, specifically to their facility/hospital of choice or to the Employee Emergency Fund. Employees can set up their gift in any of the following ways:

• Make a single charitable contribution; or
• Spread the gift out over a period of time; or schedule a recurring gift.

Donate Vacation Time to Benefit the Employee Emergency Fund

If you have over 80 hours of accrued vacation, you are eligible to donate the cash-value of excess time in one-hour increments.

Purchase Items at the UofL Health Store

UofL Health has a gear store where you can purchase spirit wear, accessories, or other items to show off your UofL Health pride. All proceeds from store purchases are donated to the Employee Emergency Fund (employee login required).

Link Your Kroger Card

Kroger’s Community Rewards program makes fundraising easy by donating to local organizations, such as UofL Health, based on the shopping you do every day. Once you link your card to an organization, all you have to do is shop at Kroger and swipe your Shopper’s Card or enter in your linked phone number.

Round Up When Dining at UofL Health Cafés

When you check out, tell your cashier you would like to donate $1 or round up your charge to the nearest dollar. Proceeds will benefit the UofL Health Employee Emergency Fund.
