Gratitude Heals at UofL Health – Peace Hospital

Your gift to UofL Health – Peace Hospital honors the care that heals minds and spirits. Through Gratitude Heals, you help expand access to life-changing behavioral health services and give the gift of hope to patients of all ages.

Restore Hope. Support Healing. Gratitude Heals.

Mental health and wellness are the foundations of a thriving community. At UofL Health – Peace Hospital, we provide a sanctuary for healing, supported by addiction recovery funding and behavioral health initiatives. Your gifts allow us to expand our specialized programs for children, adolescents, and adults, providing the resources necessary to overcome the challenges of substance use disorders. Together, we can write more patient success stories of resilience and long-term wellness. Through our Gratitude Heals program, your gift honors the care that helped you or a loved one—and brings hope to others on their journey toward mental wellness.

Founded in 1951 by the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth, Peace Hospital is one of the largest psychiatric facilities in the nation. With your addiction recovery funding, we provide a full continuum of behavioral health and substance use services, including inpatient care, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient programs, and aftercare.

Our Kosair for Kids Children’s Peace Center is the largest and most comprehensive private provider of youth inpatient behavioral health services in the country. We offer specialized programs for children and adolescents with complex treatment needs, as well as school-based support through our partial hospitalization program.

At Peace Hospital, we believe mental health is just as essential as physical health. Your support for our children’s care or our addiction recovery funding helps us expand access to compassionate, life-affirming care for patients of all ages, giving them the tools to heal, grow, and thrive.

Together, we can restore hope and build a stronger, healthier community.
